Band JANNABI’s vocalist Choi Jung Hoon was seen crying during a performance at a university festival, which sparked rumors that he and his girlfriend, actress Han Ji Min, might have broken up.
However, recent reports show that the couple’s relationship is still going strong.
SPOTV NEWS reported on June 4th that Choi and Han were spotted on a date in Seoul at the end of last month, enjoying a relaxed and happy time together. The couple appeared affectionate and even greeted fans who recognized them with smiles and autographs.
The breakup rumors arose around the time of the Konkuk University festival, where a video showing Choi Jung Hoon tearing up during his performance went viral.
In the video, he explained, “I’ve been in the band for 12 years, and this is the first time my voice wouldn’t come out. I was really flustered. But because everyone sang along so loudly, I think I can perform without getting flustered from now on.”
Some fans speculated that his tears were related to a breakup with Han Ji Min, whom he has been dating publicly for two years. However, neither Choi nor Han has made a statement regarding the rumors.
Choi Jung Hoon and Han Ji Min confirmed their relationship in August 2024 and have been dating publicly since.
