Yura has joined the production of Cruel Story of Office Romance (literal title).
According to Sports Chosun, Yura was cast to take the second lead in the upcoming TV series Cruel Story of Office Romance.
Cruel Story of Office Romance is an office romance series that illustrates the work and love of those who work at the National Weather Service. Pushing through the many ups and downs at their workplace, the characters will grow more every day and complete their cheerful love stories. Earlier, Song Kang and Park Min Young were reported to have been cast as the lead roles.
Yura plays Chae Yoo Jin, a weather reporter for the Moonmin Ilbo. She is the “icon of bad luck” who has clear likes and dislikes and no middle ground. Instead of studying related knowledge and terminology as a reporter, she’d rather seduce her boss.
Meanwhile, Yura debuted as a member of Girl’s Day in 2010 and has since starred in various projects, including To The Beautiful You, Be Arrogant, and Radio Romance. Currently, she’s filming Now, We Are Breaking Up, set to premiere in November.
Cruel Story of Office Romance is When the Camellia Blooms director Cha Young Hoon’s new project. Writer Sunyoung pens the script, while writer Kang Eun Young acts as a creator.
