Oh Jung Se, Jeon Hye Jin, Park Sun Young, Lee Sang Woo, and Hwang Woo Seul Hye have officially joined TV CHOSUN’s upcoming series Uncle.

Uncle, a remake of the British show of the same title, is about a love-starved, unaccomplished musician. The story begins as his estranged older sister gets divorced. Soon after, he becomes responsible for her elementary schooler son, who has anxiety and an obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Oh Jung Se stars as the unemployed musician Wang Joon Hyuk, whose life is almost ruined after being betrayed and swindled. As if he doesn’t have enough going on, he has to take care of his nephew with OCD. Jeon Hye Jin plays the divorcee Wang Joon Hee, who fights hard to protect his son after divorcing his abusive husband of 12 years.

Park Sun Young plays beautiful and charismatic Park Hye Ryeong, the president of Moms’ Cafe in Royal State. She’s very much respected and admired by all the moms in the neighborhood. Moreover, Lee Sang Woo plays the kind, Joo Kyung. He’s raising his daughter alone after his wife passed away, and he lives in Royal State too. Hwang Woo Seul Hye plays Kim Yoo Ra, who is Park Hye Ryeong’s right-hand woman.

TV CHOSUN’s Uncle will start airing later this year.
