ITZY’s Yeji Proves Herself as K-Pop’s Representing Performer With 10M Views on YouTube

ITZY’s Yeji surpassed 10 million views on her solo performance video released by STUDIO CHOOM.

Mnet’s M2 released the ‘Artist Of The Month’ series for March on the 19th on their YouTube Channel. As the Artist of the Month for March, ITZY’s Yeji’s performance video hit 10 million views as of April 16th. This is the highest record among the series, once again proving the global fans’ love for ITZY.

Yeji revealed herself stiletto dancing to Bishop Briggs’ “River” for the first time. She captivated viewers with her facial expressions and unique dance style. The video’s sensual mood with her thrilling performance just proves that she is K-Pop’s representing performer.

ITZY’s group performance video also reached great achievement with its views. The choreography video for “WANNABE” uploaded to STUDIO CHOOM in March 2020 also reached 36.68 million views as of April 16th. This is the highest of them all in the channel’s ‘BE ORIGINAL’ series. Released last August, the performance video for “Not Shy” also reached 31.19 million views. As such, ITZY has been noticed by multiple dance-related channels and is rising as a performance powerhouse.

Meanwhile, the 4th-generation girl group ITZY will release their new album GUESS WHO at 1 PM KST on the 30th of this month. As the album will be available worldwide, the group will make their grand comeback with the song. The new title track “In The Morning” was joined by Park Jin Young (aka JYP) as he wrote, composed, and arranged the song.
