tvN’s hit-series Hospital Playlist confirmed the premiere date of its second season. And with the news, the team unveiled photos from the table read, marking the official beginning of season 2.
Hospital Playlist tells the stories of people living their daily lives, which seems ordinary but special, at the hospital. And on June 17th, the perfect chemistry of five life-long friends will delight the viewers once again.
The first season, which aired last year, gained explosive responses from viewers for its jolly chemistry and sincere everyday stories. The series perfected its quality by implementing the one episode-per-one-week pattern and seasonal system, setting an excellent example in the industry. The first season’s final episode ended with the series’s highest viewer ratings, heightening the expectations.
In the table read held in January, director Shin Won Ho, the five lead actors, and the entire hospital families got together. As they filled up space with their energy, director Shin expressed his excitement, saying, “We will paint out the small and everyday stories more profoundly with warmth.”
Throughout the table read, Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Dae Myung, the so-called “99s,” showcased even deeper and stronger chemistry. In addition, the rest of the actors also exuded vivid presence, raising expectations for the upcoming season.
