Story of You and the Rain, which will color the screen with a nostalgic vibe, confirmed its release next month.

This upcoming film is a “sentimental retro” movie that starts with a letter that arrived by chance. The story revolves around Young Ho and So Hee, who became special in each other’s life. Today, Story of You and the Rain confirmed the release on April 28th and unveiled a moving poster.

The moving poster shows the time of Young Ho (Kang Ha Neul), who seems to be waiting for someone. When the day turns dark, he’s still waiting for the same person. Yet his smile stays on his face.

The umbrella and the phrase in the poster, “I’m waiting for the rain now,” stimulate curiosity about what rain means to Young Ho and why he’s waiting for the rain. The motion picture shows the flow of time from noon to after sunset. But not only does this power captures Young Ho’s long wait, but it also makes viewers cheer for his time.

Kang Ha Neul plays Young Ho. Though he may grow at his speed, he does silently find his way. Chun Woo Hee turns into So Hee. She stays tough even in harsh reality, but she will still portray a pleasant yet ordinary youth.

The story of empathy shared by the two, who permeated each other’s lives with a letter, will convey a calm comfort to the audience who are tired of their daily lives.

Meanwhile, Story of You and the Rain will screen in theaters from April 28th.
