Scripting Your Destiny had an online press conference on the 22nd.

As a TVING original series, the show depicts what happens once Shin Ho Yoon (Ki Do Hoon), a god who designs humans’ destiny, plagiarizes the work of an outlandish and overly dramatic scriptwriter Ko Chae Kyung.

Director Kim Byung Soo joined the conference with Jeon So Nee, Ki Do Hoon, Park Sang Nam, Kim Woo Seok, and Kal So Won. The director said that he wanted to make a healthy and happy drama amid the COVID-19 era. “The best feature of this drama is that there are no antagonists. There is no villain. It’s a drama series that anyone can enjoy and have fun watching,” he added.

Promising rookie actors took part in the online press conference. With Kal So Won, a young actress who has grown overnight, Jeon So Nee from tvN’s When My Love Blooms, Ki Do Hoon from KBS2’s Once Again, Park Sang Nam from various web dramas, Kim Woo Seok from musical plays joined the event.

Playing a faceless screenwriter rising within the drama industry, Ko Chae Kyung, Jeon So Nee revealed that her character is like a bouncy ball. “You don’t know where the ball would go once you throw it. She catches the eye, and she’s small yet persistent. She’s a character that can easily bounce back from disappointment,” the actress explained. In the series, Jeon So Nee will make a love triangle with Ki Do Hoon and Kim Woo Seok.

It is a collaboration of My Princess writer Eun Seon Woo and Guardian: The Lonely and Great God writer Kim Eun Sook.

“Fantasy dramas typically deal with the reality of human beings put in 얄different situations. Your Destiny deals with a romance between a human and God. That’s where the difference is at,” the director described.

All ten episodes of Scripting Your Destiny will be available exclusively on TVING on the coming 26th.
