According to Sports Kyunghyang on the 3rd, Hyunjin’s Ivy Club ads were deleted from the official website and social media accounts of Ivy Club. It seems as if the brand had made a conscious decision to act upon the singer’s recent school violence controversy.

Earlier on the 22nd, a post was made to an online community suggesting that they have suffered from Hyunjin’s verbal abuse. “Every time Hwang Hyunjin appeared on TV after his debut, I felt like I could hear him mocking and ridiculing me all over again. I realized that I cannot erase the memory after all,” they wrote.

In response, the singer has come forward with an apology, stating that he is “ashamed” and “embarrassed.” His agency, JYP Entertainment, also stated that Hyunjin will be halting his activities for the time being.

As a result, Hyunjin has been dropping out of multiple programs and commercials.
