Two types of character & landscape posters of The Book of Fish have been unveiled.

On March 4, Megabox Plus M released two types of posters featuring the characters of The Book of Fish. The Book of Fish tells the story of Jeong Yak Jeon (Jeong Yak Yong’s brother), a scholar who is charmed by the ocean after being exiled to Heuksando, writing a book of fish after meeting a young fisherman who wants to escape from the sea.

The two released posters capture the contrasting visuals of two men: a scholar Jeong Yak Jeon and a fisherman Chang Dae. Sol Kyung Gu, who plays a scholar who opened his eyes to the ocean life in Heuksando Island, draws attention with his first-ever topknot (when a man ties up his hair) and historical costumes, while Byun Yohan heralds a dynamic transformation as a country-born fisherman with his relaxed posture on a boat.

In addition, the beautiful ocean view of the Joseon Dynasty expressed in plain black and white raises expectations with the ink wash painting-like visuals. Also, a copy that reads “Dreaming of a new world” amplifies questions about how two completely different men share the views of the world and reborn as each others’ teachers and friends.

The Book of Fish will be released on the 31st.
