Lee Young Ji will officially be joining the Yoo family as she has been cast as the new member of KBS’s new entertainment show Come Back Home.

Come Back Home, which has made headlines as Yoo Jae Suk’s return to KBS, welcomed rapper Lee Young Ji as the new MC and released a pre-interview video conducted in January. Originally, Lee Young Ji was supposed to partner with Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Byung Gyu, but Jo’s appearance was suspended with the recent school violence scandal.

Lee Young Ji came under the spotlight when she won first place at High School Rapper Season 3. Since then, she showed off her delightful and girl crush charms through social media live broadcasts and various entertainment shows.

In the interview, Lee showed her trust in Yoo Jae Suk, saying, “If Yoo Jae Suk is there, then I got no worries. I’m more of a Confucian girl so I won’t be that cheeky, but I will try to show the spirit of a 20-year-old girl.”

Meanwhile, Come Back Home is an outdoor reality concept that will feature celebrities going back to the places where they first began their lives in Seoul after moving to the city. It is set to premiere in the first half of this year, but the filming has been pushed back with Jo Byung Gyu’s ongoing scandal.
