Kang Daniel started considering his acting debut after receiving an offer to take the male lead in the new youth drama.
“Kang Daniel was offered to star in the Disney Plus drama You and My Police School �(literal title). And he is positively reviewing it,” said the singer’s agency KONNECT Entertainment.
You and My Police School �is a youth campus drama about the joyful survival story of youth who have entered the most conservative police university in Korea. It will revolve around the dream, love and challenges of those who were born in 2000.
If he confirms his appearance, Kang will play okay Wi Seung Hyun, who enter the police university at the top of his class. Unlike his flashy visuals, he is loyal to his bones. He followed his police chief father’s steps and was accepted into the police university at his second attempt. However, he is forced to face an unexpected event after getting involved with a woman named Go Eun Kang.
Even with the news of his review, the responses are hot. If the singer comes up with a positive answer, You and My Police School �will officially be his acting debut. It has been reported that Kang has refused many offers he received to focus on his singing career.
