Shin Hye Sun isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
According to reports on April 17th, the actress has been offered a lead role in the upcoming drama DASH and is currently reviewing the offer positively.
The series follows prosecutor Min Hwa Young, who is forced to confront her husband at the center of a murder case. As she searches for the truth, she finds herself torn between love and justice. Shin Hye Sun has been tapped to play Min Hwa Young, a chief prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office.
The potential new role comes as Shin Hye Sun continues a streak of back-to-back projects. Earlier this year, she drew viewers in with Netflix’s The Art of Sarah, and she’s set to return to the small screen on April 25th with tvN’s new weekend drama Filing for Love. She has also already lined up her next project, Netflix’s Love O’ Clock, and is reportedly in the middle of filming.
With a new drama about to premiere and another already in production, Shin Hye Sun is now considering DASH as a future project—further cementing her status as one of the industry’s busiest leading actresses.
DASH is being produced by Studio S and is currently in discussions to air as a Wednesday-Thursday drama on SBS in 2027.
