2NE1’s Minzy shared an interesting episode related to Blackpink’s “As If It’s Our Last.”
Minzy appeared as a guest in the KBS Cool FM’s Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show on Monday. And during the episode, Park asked her, “What did you mean when you said 2NE1 almost sang Blackpink’s ‘As If It’s Our Last’?”
Minzy answered, “That was actually our demo song.” Park soon questioned, “Why didn’t you guys sing it then? When you said a demo song, did you just listen to it or did you actually record it?”
“We were preparing to record it, but we had more good songs. That was around the time we released ‘Come Back Home,'” Minzy replied.
Hearing that, Park agreed and shared, “Every singer has songs that suit them. 2NE1 has a lot of hit songs. Of them, what’s your favorite?” To which she answered, “‘I Am The Best’ will be the one.”
