CIX became the second artist group to top NEW K.ID’s Weekly Chart in 2021. The popular five-member boy group has announced that they are making a comeback with the latest album, ‘Hello Strange Dream’. On January 13th, CIX shared a teaser image with the hashtag, “CIX Town Scene #0”, “T Castle Town”, and “Hello Strange Dream”, exciting fans with the hint of their comeback. ‘Hello Strange Time’ will be their latest album following ‘HELLO Chapter 3. Hello, Strange Time” which was released last October.

Coming in at #2 is BLACKPINK. BLACKPINK has been gearing up to finish preparations for their live-stream virtual concert, ‘THE SHOW’ that will be showcased on January 31st. YG Entertainment released a statement that in this live-streamed concert, ‘The Band Six’ will join BLACKPINK once again to help with their performance. At #3 is ATEEZ who was selected by K-Pop Radar as the K-Pop artist with the most increased fandom subscriber in December of 2020. ATEEZ has recently been virtually interacting with their fans with various content starring themselves.
TREAUSRE, ranked at #5, is asserting their global popularity with a huge success following their comeback. The twelve-member group recently released their first official album, ‘THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT’. Since its release, the album’s title track, ‘MY TREASURE’ topped in Japanese streaming service, AWA. Furthermore, ‘THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT’ placed first in the iTunes album chart in 18 different territories including Brazil, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Spain, and India.
At #10 is WJSN who has been selected as having the second-best K-Pop album of 2020 by Billboard. WJSN’s ‘Neverland’ was placed second in ‘The 10 Best K-Pop Albums of 2020: Critics’ Picks’ right behind BoA’s ‘Better’.
