Is BTS singing this or not? One advertisement and the music inserted in it has sparked a heated debate online.
Coca-Cola Indonesia posted on the new 2021 commercial on its Twitter on Jan 4 (local time). Soon after the video was released, a number of BTS fans gathered in online communities and social media to argue if the song in the commercial is BTS or not. In other words, fans realized their idols’ voice in a 1-minute ad even without the label’s official statement.
Most fans wrote, “Listen through your earbuds. It’s deffo BTS” or “How can you not know this is BTS?” while some argued, “The voice sounds like BTS but sounds a bit unfamiliar. IDKW.”
According to Wikitree, the voice in the advertisement is indeed BTS. An official from Big Hit Entertainment shared, “It’s BTS’s voice. They recently sang the song in a global Coca-Cola commercial.”
