V’s Chinese Fanclub (CHINA Baidu V bar) once again showed their jaw-dropping class.

On Dec 10, “Baidu V bar” announced a super-special support to post a birthday ad for V in this year’s last issue of the Time Magazine (Dec 21) in order to celebrate V’s 25th birthday (Dec 30). V is the first celebrity in the world to have a birthday ad in Time Magazine.

As BTS is scheduled to decorate the inside cover of the magazine as the “ENTERTAINER of the year,” V will be celebrating a special birthday by putting his face in more than two pages of the world-renowned magazine.

After “Baidu V bar” announced “the first and only bday support for an idol in Time Magazine” project on its Twitter, other ARMYs showed their full support, saying, “This is insane. I’ve never seen any birthday project like this. So original, totally creative!” or “Worthy present for the King.”

V is well known for his popularity among Chinese K-pop fans even without direct promotions in China. “Baidu V bar” set a new record by purchasing 1.7 million copies (2019) and 2.2 million copies (2020), and even fundraised 1.2 billion KRW (about 1,099,107 USD) this year, proving the gigantic fan base.

This year alone, they announced the construction of “Taehyung Hope Elementary School” and decided to place 7,039 ads in subways and 6,272 electronic display ads in drug stores, convenience stores, and book stores.
