On June 28th, Jungkook held a live broadcast for his fans on Weverse. The famous BTS member shared a variety of stories from his latest concert to future plans and even addressed some rumors while casually communicating with fans.
Jungkook first expressed his gratitude, saying, “I had a concert in Madrid today. The ARMYs really had a great time.” He then candidly revealed his inner thoughts, stating, “Actually, it was very hot the day before the concert. I’m weak to heat and hot weather, so I wondered if I should take it easy. I had an experience of collapsing once due to the heat in Chile.”
Despite this, he expressed his affection for the fans, saying, “I thought I needed to manage my stamina, but the ARMYs in Madrid, Spain, were so energetic that it actually gave me more strength, so I performed even harder. Thank you.”
When asked, “When are you coming back to Korea?” he added, “I’ll be back in Korea in mid-July. I also want to perform a lot in Korea,” expressing anticipation for his future schedule. Due to their global popularity, BTS is currently touring Europe for their BTS World Tour Arirang.
Jungkook continued the real-time communication by directly reading fan comments. When a fan left a message saying, “Marry me,” Jungkook laughed and joked, “Stop telling me to marry you. I have no plans to get married yet. Stop talking about it.” He also addressed comments about speaking English and jokingly said, “Tell Yoongi (Suga) to marry you. Say ‘Yoongi Marry Me,'” making the viewers burst into laughter in the comments.
When fans asked, “Does Yoongi have plans to get married?” Jungkook replied, “I haven’t talked about marriage with Yoongi,” continuing the cheerful atmosphere.
At the same time, Jungkook was shocking fans with his playful demeanor as well. Appearing shirtless for the live was one thing, but fans were increasingly curious about the dating rumors with aespa member Winter in December of last year. At the time, eyewitness accounts of him visiting a concert hall during his military leave and suspiciously matching tattoos alongside matching items had spread like wildfire online. However, the star negated the question, and neither agency released an official statement.
