Yoo Ah In is considering his appearance in the film Seoul Vibe (literal title).
Earlier today, a media outlet reported that Yoo Ah In has been cast to take the lead in the film Seoul Vibe. In response, the actor’s agency UAA said, “It’s true that Yoo Ah In was offered to star in the film Seoul Vibe. But it’s only one of the many projects he was offered. He is looking into various works.”
Seoul Vibe, produced by ANDMARQ Studio, is a crime-comedy action film with a budget of 15 billion KRW (about 13,820,110 USD). This is the introduction that the studio wrote: “1988! The opening day of the Seoul Olympic Games! Steal the slush funds from His Excellency specializing in genocide! HIP and COOL sanggye-dong baby drivers’ unexpected steal operation!”
This film will be directed by The King’s Case Note director Moon Hyung Sung.
This year alone, Yoo Ah In released two films, #ALIVE and Voice of Silence, and received outstanding results. And only recently, he finished filming for Netflix original series Hellbound. Based on the webtoon of the same name, Hellbound is a story about a supernatural phenomenon where supernatural beings from hell appear out of nowhere to condemn people to hell. Train to Busan director Yeon Sang Ho directed the series and Awl writer Choi Gyu Suk penned the script.
