[Weekly TV Top 10] ‘Start-Up’ Retains Its Crown for Another Week

Some point out that the drama is focusing more on the romance rather than challenges and growth that reflect the current era and that all narratives are concentrated in the second lead, but the popularity of Start-Up seems to continue its rise. As Dal Mi was seen learning the whole truth in the previous episode, attention is focusing on the upcoming developments. Let’s check out which programs have made headlines over the past week.

The Dramas on 2nd Week of November 2020

Start-Up has seen a slight decrease in popularity compared to the previous week, but it still topped the drama category for two consecutive weeks. Some pointed out that the fact that the plot seems to mostly revolve around Kim Sun Ho rather than the two main characters is preventing the viewers’ immersion, and showed their hopes for equal distribution of narration among characters. Tale of the Nine-Tailed climbed one notch to second place. Especially, the scene where Kim Yong Ji attacks Kim Bum under hypnosis became the talk of the town, and the clip recorded the highest number of views in the drama’s video category in the second week of November (based on Gooddata). The third place went to The Penthouse: War in Life, but it has continued to suffer negative responses, showing a decline in popularity for two weeks in a row. 18 Again finished at No. 4. Not only did the drama end with a solid happy ending, but it was praised for showing a realistic daily life.
