MBC is preparing two make two separate programs for “E-sports” and “Dog-sports.”
According to a media outlet, MBC will produce e-sports and idol agility competition as a Chuseok special in September. According to broadcasting officials, the recoding for the game will take place in early September. Dog agility is a sport in which a person directs a dog through an obstacle course.
So far, the participants include GOT7’s Youngjae, MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul, UP10TION’s Kim Woo Seok, (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua, WJSN’s Soobin, Golden Child’s Bomin and Jaehyun, and Lovelyz’s Jisoo.
Earlier, it was confirmed that the idol agility competition will be made as a separate program, not an event included in the 2020 Idol Star Athletics Championships.
In a related development, MBC said, “In consideration of the time and effort the players have put into preparing, we are currently discussing airing [the events] individually as separate programs.”
