2020 Idol Star Athletics Championships has decided to cancel all indoor games held in the gymnasium due to the re-surge of COVID-19.
MBC said, “Due to the current social atmosphere and the danger of COVID-19, we have canceled all events held inside the gym. We are considering programming the two outdoor games separately as we prioritize disinfection, reducing manpower, and safety.”
The network continued, “In consideration of the time and effort the players have put into preparing, we are currently discussing airing ‘E-sports’ and ‘Dog-sports‘ individually as separate programs.”
“We are considering various variables in preparation for COVID-19. We will do our best to ensure that everyone can play the game with an easy mind by putting the safety of the cast and staff first through thorough quarantine prevention and management even during outdoor shooting,” �they added.
