Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon is making a surprise comeback under her another stage name DJ HYO.
On July 15, her label, SM Entertainment, announced that Hyoyeon will release her 4th single album DESSERT at 6:00 p.m. on July 22 KST.
It is her first comeback in about a year. Hyoyeon showed potential as a DJ when she released her first digital single Sober in April 2018. Since then, she has continuously released “Punk Right Now“ and “Badster,” and received great love from fans. She also presented extraordinary performance as a DJ.
An official of the label gave a hint by saying, “You will meet the new music of Hyoyeon, who has been active in DJ performances and EDM festivals.”
Meanwhile, Hyoeyon will appear at the music festival “Cass Blue Playground Connect 2.0” on July 18.
