Chung Ha Is Self-Isolating After Her StaffsWere Diagnosed with COVID-19

K-Pop artist Chung Ha, the former member of I.O.I, has been confirmed as negative at the COVID-19 (the new Coronavirus) test and isolating herself at home.

On March 1, Chung Ha’s agency MNH Entertainment (shortened to MNH below) issued a statement on her official fan cafe website, saying that two of its staff were recently diagnosed with the virus. Late February, Chung Ha visited Milan, Italy both for a fashion show and for her own photo shoot. She returned to Korea on Feb. 24 after finishing those schedules. According to the agency, since then, a staff who had accompanied her at Milan felt a fever and was diagnosed with COVID-19 after the test.

“We asked Chung Ha and all of her companions at Milan to self-isolate at home and went through the COVID-19 tests for them. As a result, another staff was also diagnosed with the virus and we’ve taken all possible actions,” said MNH. “Fortunately, Chung Ha was confirmed as negative today as well as other staffs,” the company added.

Chung Ha released her new single “Everybody Has” on Feb. 29, but MNH revealed that it canceled all schedules for her safety. The agency said she would self-isolate at home for a while in accordance with the policy of Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC). We hope Chung Ha be safe and come back again very soon!
