ARMYs Donate From Concert Cancellation to Help Coronavirus Prevention

On February 27th, it was announced that BTS‘s “Map of the Soul Tour” stops in Seoul that were supposed to happen on April 11, 12, 18, and 19th, were to be cancelled due to the safety concerns about the coronavirus. All the ticket holders were informed that they would be receiving refunds.

Following the unfortunate news, however, a source from Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association told OSEN on February 28th, that many of the group’s fans have been donating their refunds to help with the virus outbreak prevention.

The association stated that “BTS’s fans have been donating after Suga donated 100 million won (approximately $83,000), but there have been particularly a lot of donations today. We have received 453 donations by 3pm that were registered under either ARMY, BTS member names, or fans’ own names. The donation has reached 19,382,416 won (approximately $16,000).”

A huge round of applause for the thoughtful actions of ARMYs!
