Billboard Announces BTS As Top Kpop Group and Jungkook as Top Kpop Star of 2019 Via Tumblr’s Yearly Report

As revealed by Tumblr‘s Year in Review, Billboard has recently reported about BTS and Jungkook being the top group and star of 2019.

BTS members claimed the top 7 spots of the most popular Kpop stars with Jungkook being in the lead – this being his second consecutive year on top of the list. Also amongst the top of the list were Stray Kids‘s Bang Chan, �EXO‘s Baekhyun, and NCT‘s Jaehyun. BTS was unveiled as the top amongst all of the group rankings followed by Stray Kids and EXO, and were also reported to be the “overall second-most interacted with entity” on Tumblr in 2019 followed by Good Omens.

That was not all for K-pop this year, as there were also five women who were placed in the top 50 – three including members of BLACKPINK and another three including members of Red Velvet – as was mentioned by Amanda Brennan, head of Content Insights & Social at Tumblr.
