SK Telecom T1’s (aka T1) League of Legends (LoL) squad will make a special appearance as the first guest of BTS’s reality show Run BTS!
“Faker” Lee Sang Hyeok, “Teddy” Park Jin Seong, “Effort” Lee Sang Ho, “Cuzz” Moon Woo Chan and “Canna” Kim Chang Dong met with BTS, the host of Run BTS! that is released through global fan community platform Weverse and V LIVE.
The two influential groups first took time to get to know each other and got divided into two teams and enjoyed a variety of games, such as dancing or singing and playing mini-games with champions of the League of Legends.
Faker said, “It was an honor to be invited as the first special guest on Run BTS!. In particular, it was a very enjoyable experience to meet BTS members in person and share each other’s fields. It wasn’t a long meeting, but it was amazing to get together with people who had a big impact on Korean culture.”
Founded in 2012, T1 is a professional gaming team based in South Korea. T1 is the only team to have won the World Championship three times and is also the only team to hold an unofficial “Triple Crown.” Faker, in particular, has raised his profile as the best player of all time, helping the T1 LoL team secure the thickest and most influential fan base in the e-sports world.
T1 LoL team’s special appearance will be released on November 3 and 10.
