Jung Hae In is continuing his strong run in variety television, while Go Youn Jung is stepping into the genre for the very first time.
According to SPOTV News on the 22nd, Jung Hae In and Go Youn Jung have been confirmed as cast members on MBC’s upcoming variety show The Secret Friends Club.
The Secret Friends Club is an undercover gift-exchange show built around the idea of people who share two things when they receive one. Cast members are randomly assigned secret “Manitto (aka Secret Santa)” partners and must deliver gifts without revealing their identity until the very end.
The first lineup already includes major names such as Jennie of BLACKPINK, Dex, Choo Sung Hoon, Ro Hong Chul, and Lee Su Ji, setting expectations high for a chaotic and star-powered mix.
For Jung Hae In, the show marks another step in his increasingly active variety career following Good Day. Go Youn Jung, meanwhile, joins the show as its so-called “hidden card.” While she has previously made brief appearances on talk shows to promote her projects, this marks her first time joining a variety program as a regular cast member.
The Secret Friends Club premieres February 1st at 6:10 PM KST on MBC.
