Park Seo Joon and Won Ji An‘s upcoming series Surely Tomorrow has released its first trailer, giving fans a delightful look at the on-set chemistry. The series is scheduled to premiere in December on JTBC.
The production team released a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the fun and lively atmosphere of the shoot on October 22nd. The clip has amplified excitement for the show, which comes from a powerhouse creative team writer Yoo Young Ah of Thirty-Nine and director Im Hyun Wook of King the Land.
The drama tells the story of former lovers Lee Gyeong Do (played by Park Seo Joon) and Seo Ji Woo (Won Ji An), who dated and broke up twice, once at age 20 and again at 28. They reunite years later under complicated circumstances: he is now an entertainment reporter, and she is the wife of a man at the center of a major affair scandal he is covering.
The new behind-the-scenes video features the cast, including Lee El, Lee Joo Young and Kang Ki Doong, sharing laughs between takes while also seriously discussing the script. The romantic synergy between Park Seo Joon and Won Ji An is a clear highlight, with shots of them riding a carousel together and waltzing in the middle of the street.
This project marks Park Seo Joon’s first romantic comedy in seven years, since his hit 2018 drama What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim. Anticipation for his return to the genre is incredibly high.
The trailer ends with the sound of a slate clapping and the message, “Everyone, the ‘Gyeongdo’ you’ve been waiting for is coming soon,” raising expectations to a fever pitch.
