Yong Junhyung has notified his agency, Black Made, of his decision to terminate his exclusive contract.
On March 30th, he shared on Instagram, “I have repeatedly requested corrections regarding key contractual obligations that were not fulfilled over a long period.” He added, “These issues were not improved for years, and it reached a point where it became difficult to maintain a relationship of trust.”
“Accordingly, as of March 12th, 2026, I notified them of the contract termination based on applicable laws,” he continued. “There has been no response to date. I consider the contract legally terminated and plan to continue independently. I will greet you again with a better version of myself.”
The dispute dates back to June 2025, when Yong Junhyung first spoke out about conflicts with the label. Black Made is a label under Big Planet Made, which is a subsidiary of One Hundred Label, co-founded by chairman Cha Ga Won and singer MC Mong.
At the time, he claimed, “On the day my album was released last year, they suddenly called me in and said the business had expanded so they needed to reorganize the label, and that they would terminate my contract without any conditions. When I said I couldn’t understand and was taken aback, they suddenly said, ‘Let’s try to make it work again.'”
He continued, “Then after a month or two, they unilaterally told me to leave the company and demanded I pay back investment money I never approved or discussed, along with damages they calculated. They cited various clauses in the contract, but I never violated anything after signing.”
“I asked them to fulfill their management duties until the end of the contract, but they repeatedly cut off contact. Who is really violating the contract?” he added.
Yong Junhyung debuted in 2009 as a member of Beast. He left the group in 2019 amid controversy tied to Jung Joon Young’s group chat scandal. He resumed activities in 2022 with Black Made and married HyunA in October 2024.
