The inferno has officially cooled down. Netflix’s hit dating reality show Single’s Inferno 5 released its highly anticipated finale on February 10th, revealing which contestants successfully paired up to escape the island.

With the final choices made, curiosity is now shifting to the burning question: which of these on-screen romances survived in the real world?

The finale saw a total of five couples walking away together, marking a successful season for the cast.

First up were Kim Min Gee and Song Seung Il. Min Gee charmed the viewers with a clever confession, creating an acrostic poem using Seung Il’s name. Playfully, she said, “I have a strong competitive spirit, so I love winning and being first. That’s why I think I like Seung Il,” as his name sounds like ‘winning’ and ‘first’ in Korean.

Next, Lim Su Bin and Park Hee Sun chose each other, leaving the island hand-in-hand. Their chemistry was palpable as they shared affectionate conversation, marveling at their connection with comments like, “It must be fate,” and “We think so much alike.”

The spotlight, however, was on Mina Sue Choi and Lee Sung Hun. Often labeled the season’s “villain” for her unfiltered behavior and keeping her options open, Mina Sue showed a vulnerable side before the final selection.

“I think I acted genuinely based on my feelings, without any pretense,” she reflected. “I tried to follow my heart, even if it meant someone might dislike me.” Tearing up, she added, “There were difficult moments… but I feel  grateful to have had this experience.”

She then delivered a heartfelt confession to Lee Sung Hun in English, moving him to tears. “I think out of all the people here, you really brought out the version of myself that I liked about myself,” she said. “I can’t imagine leaving this place unless it’s Sam. Thank you very much.”

The final pairings were rounded out by Lee Joo Young and Kim Jae Jin. Despite being chosen by two men, Joo Young remained steadfast in her decision to pick Jae Jin.

In a surprise twist, popular contestant Kim Go Eun caught viewers off guard by choosing Woo Sung Min over her other suitors, Jo Yi Gun and Shin Hyeon Woo.

While the finale confirmed these five matches, their current relationship status remains a mystery. However, eagle-eyed fans have already spotted a clue: a photo circulating on social media appears to show Lim Su Bin and Park Hee Sun watching the finale episode together, fueling speculation that they are indeed a “real-world couple.”
