Even Hollywood icon George Clooney could not hide his admiration when he came face-to-face with Park Bo Gum.
On February 7th local time, the two actors attended the opening gala of Omega House in Milan, held in celebration of the 2026 Milan–Cortina Winter Olympics. The star-studded event brought together global figures from film, sports, and fashion, including Omega President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann, Olympic legend Allyson Felix, actress Marisa Tomei, and Italian actor Saul Nanni.
Park Bo Gum and Clooney were seen chatting side by side, instantly lighting up the room with an easy, friendly chemistry. Greeting guests in fluent English, Park said, “I’m so happy to be here, and I’m so glad to meet with you all,” while also expressing his respect for Clooney.
Clooney, meeting Park for the first time, placed a hand on his shoulder and delivered a joke that quickly became the night’s highlight. “It’s very frustrating for me, ’cause at 64, look at him—I wanna kill myself,” he said with a laugh, sending the room into fits of laughter.

According to Omega’s official website, the luxury watchmaker—official timekeeper of the Winter Olympics—hosted the exclusive opening gala at Omega House Milan, welcoming Clooney and Park as the event’s first honored guests. Both stars serve as global ambassadors for Omega.
CEO Aeschlimann praised Park Bo Gum, describing him as “an actor loved for his unmatched charm and powerful screen presence.” He added that Park’s wide acting range and sincerity align closely with Omega’s long-standing values of precision, excellence, and enduring quality.
Park shared his own thoughts during the event, saying, “My relationship with Omega is still just beginning, but I already feel the many values the brand represents.
