tvN’s upcoming Monday–Tuesday drama Spring Fever has unveiled photos and details from its first table read.
Director Park Won Guk, writer Kim Ah Jung, and lead actors Ahn Bo Hyun (as Sun Jae Gyu), Lee Joo Been (as Yoon Bom), Cha Seo Won (as Choi Yi Joon), Cho Jun Young (as Sun Han Gyeol), Lee Jae In (as Choi Se Jin), Jin Kyung (as Seo Hye Sook), and Bae Jung Nam (as Jung Jin Hyuk) gathered in one room for their first official read-through.

Ahn Bo Hyun steps into the role of Sun Jae Gyu—uncle to Han Gyeol—a wild-card figure whose unpredictable behavior stirs up chaos in the quiet village. Fully immersed in character, Ahn brought both comedic nuance and authenticity to the role, enhanced by his natural Busan dialect that kept the room laughing.
Lee Joo Been takes on Yoon Bom, a high school teacher who sparks the curiosity of everyone in town. She impressed immediately with her portrayal of an “outsider teacher” whose cold exterior hides a softer, more vulnerable heart.
After the table read, Ahn Bo Hyun shared, “The script introduces characters you’ve never seen before. It was genuinely fun to read, and playing an uncle for the first time—plus the dialect—felt refreshingly new. I think viewers will be able to watch this drama with lots of laughs.”
Lee Joo Been added that the show’s charm lies in “its pretty scenery, refreshing village backdrop, and witty comedic beats.” She continued, “The dynamic between Jae Gyu and Bom is great, but the interactions between the students and teachers are also fun—and there’s a hidden-card character coming up who will be really entertaining to watch.”

The drama promises not only a quirky, hot-pink–tinted romance between two contrasting leads but also a lively youth story centered around the village’s high schoolers—bringing a wide range of charm to the screen.
Spring Fever premieres January 5th, 2026 at 8:50 PM KST on tvN.
