Park Bo Gum and Kim Hye Soo will headline this year’s 2025 MAMA Awards as official hosts.
On October 29th, the MAMA Awards’ official channel announced Park Bo Gum as the host for the upcoming ceremony, teasing, “Host Park Bo Gum will open the first chapter of a new story at the 2025 MAMA Awards.”
Park Bo Gum has served as the MAMA Awards host every year since 2017, except during his military service in 2020 and 2021. This year marks his seventh time leading Asia’s biggest K-pop awards show.
Joining him as host on the second night will be veteran actress Kim Hye Soo, who is set to make her MAMA debut. Sharing her excitement, Kim said, “I believe music has the power to connect people beyond regions and languages. I’m thrilled to be part of this global celebration where fans can feel the healing energy of music. I’ll do my best to deliver that positive energy with sincerity.”
The 2025 MAMA Awards will be held over two days—November 28th and 29th—at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, marking a grand-scale celebration in honor of Mnet’s 30th anniversary.
Following the first artist lineup featuring IVE, Stray Kids, BABYMONSTER, and Super Junior, the second lineup has now been revealed, adding even more star power: i-dle, MIRROR, NCT WISH, TREASURE, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), aespa, IDID, JO1, G-Dragon, and dancer Kyoka have all joined the roster.
Additional performing artist announcements for the 2025 MAMA Awards will be revealed sequentially via the show’s official channels in the coming weeks.
