BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Lisa put an end to feud rumors with a display of their unchanged friendship.
Jennie posted several photos and videos on her social media on April 20th with the caption, “Coachella 25 weekend 2 has begun.” The photos show her attending the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.
Jennie made a special visit to Coachella to cheer on Lisa’s second solo performance. She stopped by Lisa’s waiting room, and the two shared a warm hug. As soon as they saw each other, Lisa lit up with a big smile and called out, “Jennie!” The two embraced cheek to cheek, showing just how close they still are. Jennie, clearly excited, was also spotted dancing along to Lisa’s performance.

Earlier, some international media had stirred up rumors of tension between the two, noting that Jennie didn’t attend Lisa’s first Coachella performance and was seen at Lady Gaga’s set instead. But it was later revealed that Lisa had watched Jennie’s solo stage on April 13 with Rosé, showing that the members still support one another.
Their sweet reunion at Coachella quickly put the rumors to rest. As clips of their hug and support for each other spread online, fans everywhere were touched, saying, “BLACKPINK’s bond is still going strong.”
Meanwhile, Jennie not only successfully debuted her solo stage at Coachella on April 13th but also returned for another solo performance on April 20th. She first appeared at Coachella in 2019 with BLACKPINK as the first K-pop girl group to do so and later made history as the first Asian artist to headline Coachella in 2023.
