Jennie completed her solo concert wearing sunglasses throughout the entire performance, with some voicing disappointment over the concert’s staging, setlist, and brief runtime.

On March 15th, Jennie held “The Ruby Experience” at Inspire Arena in Incheon, celebrating her first solo album, Ruby. The tour, which began in Los Angeles and continued in New York, concluded with this final show. Various celebrities attended, including Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Ji Won, Hyeri, fellow BLACKPINK member Rosé, and BIGBANG’s Daesung. NewJeans’ appearance in the audience prompted enthusiastic cheers.

Jennie addressed the audience 45 minutes into the show, saying, “Thank you everyone for coming to my first solo concert.” She was moved to tears by the audience’s response, adding, “I promised I wouldn’t cry. Actually, when I released the album and received so much love from many people, it was hard to accept. But seeing it with my own eyes today, I’m so grateful and happy.”

Despite previous controversy, Jennie maintained her bold, revealing stage attire throughout the show. Production aspects left much to be desired—her live vocals were often drowned out by pre-recorded audio, and she performed most songs while wearing sunglasses, obscuring her usually expressive face. Her stage movements prioritized cameras over audience interaction, diminishing the live experience.

Talk segments amounted to just five minutes, disappointing many who hoped to hear more personal stories from the artist. Beginning 10 minutes later than scheduled, the concert concluded after just 70 minutes. The lowest-priced tickets were 143,000 KRW (approximately $100), with similar-priced concerts typically running 2-3 hours.

Despite having numerous songs from both BLACKPINK and her solo career, Jennie only performed tracks from her new album. Audience members remained seated after the performance, only realizing it was over when the venue lights came on, expressing confusion with comments like, “Is it over already?” and “I didn’t know it had ended.”
