Following the finale of Go Hyun Jung’s Namib, Genie TV is set to premiere its original drama Riding Life (literal title) on March 3rd, marking Jeon Hye Jin‘s return to the screen after mourning the loss of her husband, the late Lee Sun Kyun.

The production has unveiled character posters featuring its trio, Jeon Hye Jin, Jo Min Soo, and Kim Sa Rang, as three generations of women navigating Seoul’s cutthroat education scene. Riding Life zeros in on Jung Eun, a devoted working mom who enlists her mother Ji Ah to handle “academy riding”—the daily routine of ferrying her daughter between prestigious tutoring centers—as they prepare for the “Age 7 Entrance Exam,” a newly-coined term for the competitive testing required to enter elite English academies.

The character posters offer intriguing glimpses into each woman’s perspective. Jeon Hye Jin portrays the harried working mother Jung Eun, shown racing between obligations with her employee ID still dangling from her neck. Her poster’s tagline reads, “Mommy will be there soon, wait for me,” hinting at the emotional complexities driving her educational fervor.

Jo Min Soo’s poster captures her character’s bewilderment with the tagline “Being a mother doesn’t mean you know everything.” As Ji Ah enters the world of “academy riding” for her granddaughter, she encounters an educational landscape vastly different from when she raised her own daughter. Kim Sa Rang completes the trio as Hong Seo Yun, radiating charm with her declaration, “I’ll do everything mommy likes.”

“The synergy between actors Jeon Hye Jin, Jo Min Soo, and child actress Kim Sa Rang will exceed expectations,” the production team shared. “We’ve brought a fresh lens to the world of early childhood education that hasn’t been shown on other dramas while delivering a multi-generational story that hits home for every family. We ask for your interest and anticipation until the premiere.”

Riding Life premieres Monday, March 3rd at 10 PM KST on Genie TV and ENA.
