Actors Lee Chae Min and Ryu Da In, both 23, have transitioned from playing high school friends in the drama Crash Course in Romance (2023) to becoming a couple in real life.
Lee Chae Min’s agency, Gold Medalist, confirmed on March 25th, “Lee Chae Min and Ryu Da In have transitioned from colleagues to a couple. They’re getting to know each other with good feelings.”
Speculation about the actors’ relationship began swirling online after a clip surfaced showing them enjoying a date on the streets, with Lee Chae Min notably carrying Ryu Da In’s bag, signaling a level of intimacy and care between them.
The two actors met on the set of Crash Course in Romance, where they played classmates. In the drama, Lee Chae Min took on the role of Lee Seon Jae, while Ryu Da In portrayed Jang Dan Ji, close friends with Nam Ha Yi (Roh Yoon Seo), the daughter of Nam Haeng Seon (Jeon Do Yeon).
Lee Chae Min, who debuted in the 2021 drama High Class, is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix series Hierarchy. Ryu Da In, having kickstarted her acting career with the 2020 drama 18 Again, recently garnered attention for her role as a student struggling with school violence in the acclaimed drama Pyramid Game.
