EXO’s Chanyeol is gearing up to captivate audiences on the small screen once again following his 2021 musical film The Box.
He joins the cast of the Netflix original mystery thriller The Frog, alongside renowned actor Yoon Kye Sang. Filming for the series began in 2023 and is currently in the post-production stage.
Directed by Mo Wan Il of The World of the Married and Misty, The Frog revolves around a lodging business owner whose life takes a dramatic turn when he encounters a mysterious woman one summer. Thrust into danger, he must fight for his survival. The talented cast includes Kim Yoon Seok, Go Min Si, and Lee Jung Eun.
While details surrounding Chanyeol’s character remain under wraps, his previous performances in projects like So I Married an Anti-fan, The Box, Missing 9 and Memories of the Alhambra showcase his versatility and ability to deliver captivating portrayals. Fans eagerly await to see how he brings his unique energy to this suspenseful series.
The Frog is slated to premiere in the second half of 2024, adding to the already exciting lineup of Korean content on Netflix.
