The much-anticipated film Exhuma has finally lifted its veil, releasing an international poster and trailer on January 5th.

Exhuma is an occult mystery film narrating the bizarre events that unfold as a geomancer, a mortician, and a shaman relocate a suspicious grave for a hefty sum of money.
The trailer, though only 30 seconds long, leaves a powerful impression. It features Choi Min Sik, Kim Go Eun, Yoo Hae Jin, and Lee Do Hyun, hinting at a chilling story as the characters confront strange phenomena.
The poster shows a single eye emerging from the soil, creating a mysterious atmosphere. Another poster featuring the eyes of the main characters intensifies the sense of suspense.
Choi Min Sik plays the role of Sang Deok, a geomancer who locates the best spots for graves. Kim Go Eun portrays Hwa Rim, a shaman who appeases the spirits. Yoo Hae Jin takes on the role of Young Geun, a mortician, while Lee Do Hyun plays Bong Gil, a shaman who recites incantations.
The fact that Exhuma is Director Jang Jae Hyun’s new work is another reason for the high expectations. Jang is known for exploring themes like cult religions in Svaha: The Sixth Finger and exorcism in The Priests.
Meanwhile, Exhuma is set for release in Korea in the coming month.
