BTS won the Grand Prize on the first night of the 2023 MAMA Awards.
The awards show took place at the Tokyo Dome in Japan at 6 PM on November 28th. The first day of the ceremony was hosted by Jeon So Mi.

The winners of the fan-voted Worldwide Fans’ Choice Awards included TXT, BTS, ZEROBASEONE, ENHYPEN, Lim Young Woong, ATEEZ, NCT DREAM, STRAY KIDS, SEVENTEEN, and TWICE.
The Samsung Galaxy Worldwide Icon of the Year, known as the Grand Prize, was awarded to BTS. In a video, Jungkook expressed, “It’s our sixth time receiving this award. Thank you so much, ARMYs, for your unwavering love and support.”
TVXQ, marking their 20th anniversary this year, clinched the Inspiring Achievement award at the event. The group not only delivered an amazing performance of their latest track “Down” but also teamed up with RIIZE to bring their iconic hit “Rising Sun” to life on stage at the awards show.
