BTS’s RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are set to join the South Korean military in December, marking a new phase in both their personal journeys and the band’s illustrious career.
Big Hit Music announced on the 22nd, “We would like to inform our fans that RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook have initiated the military enlistment process. The artists are preparing to fulfill their military service duties. We will inform you of further updates in due course.”
They finished their announcement, “We ask you for your continued love and support for RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook until they complete their military service and safely return. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artists.”
The four members are expected to enter a training center in December to serve as active-duty soldiers. The remaining BTS members, Jin and J-Hope, are anticipated to complete their military service by next year. This timeline suggests that fans may have to wait until the latter half of 2025 to see BTS reunited as a complete group.
