Stray Kids achieved a significant milestone at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), winning the Top K-Pop Album category with their June release, 5-STAR.
At the BBMAs held on the 20th KST, Stray Kids grasped the Top K-Pop Album trophy for 5-STAR, their third full album released this past June. The album marked their standing in a competitive category that included Jimin’s Face, NewJeans’ Get Up, TWICE’s Ready to Be, and Tomorrow X Together’s The Name Chapter: Temptation.
This category is one of the newly introduced awards at this year’s BBMAs, alongside Top Global K-Pop Song, Top K-Pop Touring Artist, and Top Global K-Pop Artist. The Top K-Pop Touring Artist award went to BLACKPINK, Top Global K-Pop Artist to NewJeans, and Top Global K-Pop Song to Jungkook.
Additionally, Stray Kids also took the stage as performers, showcasing the title tracks “S-Class” from 5-STAR and “LALALALA” from their album Rock-Star.
Below is the full list of winners of the 2023 BBMAs.
