Coming this November, the Genie TV original drama Say You Love Me (Korean remake of the Japanese TV series Aishiteiru to Ittekure) promises to melt hearts with a love story that transcends words. On the 19th, Genie TV unveiled a first teaser filled with warm sentiments.

Say You Love Me (literal title) portrays a classic romance between painter Cha Jin Woo (Jung Woo Sung), who communicates with his hands, and actress Jung Mo Eun (Shin Hyun Bin), who listens with her heart. Using glances and expressions as their love language, this story delivers a delightful tingle to its viewers. The mere fact that “romance master” Jung Woo Sung is returning to the genre after 11 years, paired with the critically acclaimed Shin Hyun Bin, is enough to raise high expectations. Adding further anticipation is the collaboration of Our Beloved Summer director Kim Yoon Jin and Love in the Moonlight writer Kim Min Jung.

The freshly unveiled teaser captivates with stunning visuals. Filled solely with the sounds of nature in its serene backdrop, the video leaves a lingering emotional impact. With the tagline, “Beauty reveals itself upon closer inspection,” the teaser depicts the first sunset-lit meeting between Cha Jin Woo and Jung Mo Eun.

Jung Woo Sung takes on the role of Cha Jin Woo, a painter with a hearing disability. For him, art used to be his entire world until a fateful encounter with Jung Mo Eun changes everything. Shin Hyun Bin plays aspiring actress Jung Mo Eun, who experiences a whirlpool of emotions upon meeting Cha Jin Woo, eventually coming to recognize true love and maturing as an actress.

Right after the teaser’s release, communities flooded with eager comments like “Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun Bin’s romance has finally arrived” and “The simplicity of it makes this more captivating.”

Meanwhile, Say You Love Me will premiere in November on Genie TV and ENA.
