Pyo Ye Jin and Lee Jun Young will star in a new TVING original series titled I Openly Dream of Becoming Cinderella (literal title).
I Openly Dream of Becoming Cinderella is a romantic comedy series about a woman who dreams of becoming Cinderella due to her harsh reality. The romantic journey follows her as she meets a rich man who doesn’t believe in love.
Lee Jun Young takes on the role of Moon Cha Min, a doubtful wealthy man who is also the head of a social club. He has no interest in women and hates those who wish to live like a Cinderella. The slow-burn romance begins as he becomes intertwined with the club’s newcomer, Shin Jae Rim (Pyo Ye Jin).
Pyo Ye Jin plays a woman named Shin Jae Rim who starts working as a manager at a social club to find her Prince Charming. However, she slowly breaks away from her idle dreams and becomes stronger in her pursuit of finding true love by embracing her own life.
Strong Girl Bong Soon and Mine writer Baek Mi Kyung participated in the upcoming project as a creator. The series is helmed by director Kim Mi Kyung, who previously worked on Comedy Big League and SNL Korea, and written by up-and-coming writer Yu Ja.
I Openly Dream of Becoming Cinderella will be released in 2024.
