Go Ah Sung has been hospitalized with severe injuries that are expected to require 12 weeks for a complete recovery.
On September 8th, a representative for the actress’s talent agency disclosed, “Go Ah Sung fractured her sacrum during work and is now receiving medical treatment at a hospital.” Concerning her upcoming schedule, they added, “We are currently discussing whether she will start filming for the drama The Love Story of Chunhwa (literal title) and attend the upcoming Busan International Film Festival.”
Earlier the same day, the actress shared a picture from her hospital stay on her YouTube channel, with the caption, “Facing 12 weeks of hospitalization… What should I do?”
Fans expressed their concerns as the picture showed her receiving treatment at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Go Ah Sung has secured a role in TVING’s The Love Story of Chunhwa, co-starring with Jang Ryul. Furthermore, her upcoming film, titled Because I Hate Korea (literal title) is set to premiere at the 28th Busan International Film Festival, scheduled for October 4th.
