YG Entertainment shared a new video titled BLACKPINK – 7th ANNIVERSARY to celebrate the seventh anniversary of BLACKPINK’s debut on their official YouTube channel.
The group showed their close chemistry while answering the questions about them. Of all the questions, the number 18 question drew attention as it asked them to freely describe the happiest moment after meeting BLINKS. To the fans’ surprise, the act treated them to a heartfelt video to express how thankful they are to their fans.
Jennie expressed in the video, “At first, I was shy to approach our fans, but as time went by, they felt more like friends. And now we’re like a family supporting each other no matter what we do. BLACKPINK is BLINKS and BLINKS are BLACKPINK, and we are all pure LOVE.”
Lisa continued on, “While on a tour, I gained lots of energy from our fans. I love the energy we shared during the performance. Thank you for staying with us since our debut, and let’s stay together forever. I love you.”
Jisoo shared, “I think of BLINKS even when I take a break or have some alone time, and just thinking about them gives me great strength. Thank you for staying with us for seven years. Let’s enjoy the rest of our days together.”
Lastly, Rosé revealed, “I don’t know why, but I teared up when I met BLINKS after a while. There have been so many moments when I truly realize how grateful I should be to our fans,” while tearing up. She added, “I am thankful to have our members and fans, and I love you all.”
