Following the latest controversy over his attitude, Ahn Bo Hyun’s side shared his family’s struggle of having to see malicious comments targeting him.
The actor’s side revealed on August 8th, “Ahn Bo Hyun thinks the latest controversy is something he cannot help with, but he is worried that his family will get hurt by the current issue involving him.”
Earlier on the 4th, Ahn Bo Hyun came under fire over his behavior displayed in the Yumi’s Cells behind-the-scenes video, which was uploaded on the community website. In the clip, Kim Go Eun is sitting at the table and behind it, Ahn Bo Hyun is spotted reading the script held by a female staff member. Netizens who saw the video began criticizing the actor for having the staff member hold the script for him, even when the same behavior was not captured in other scenes.
In response to the criticism, Ahn Bo Hyun’s representative explained, “Although we claim that the actor did not ask the staff member to hold the script for him, people in doubt will not believe whatever claims we make. We think that the staff member voluntarily did it for a moment. The actor said since two years had already passed, he could not exactly remember why she was doing so and was unsure whether she was taking pictures of the script with her cell phone.”
He added, “But the clip itself is surely misleading without the context. So it all started with the misleading content.”
