TWICE member Sana has spoken honestly about the recent controversy surrounding her event outfit.
Sana addressed the issue on June 18 on a fan communication platform after online discussions spread about her appearance at a public event.
She explained, “When I tried it on, it fit perfectly without any gaps in the middle. But I was in such a rush when entering the venue that I couldn’t properly check myself in the mirror.”
As seen in photos from the event, Sana wore a vibrant floral dress. However, controversy arose online after the slit of her wrap skirt opened, briefly exposing what she was wearing underneath.
Sana also shared her frustration, saying, “I only realized the dress had shifted when I went back to the waiting room. I was upset that I couldn’t present myself as nicely as during the fitting, and the comments afterward made me feel even worse.”
At the event, her bold outfit had already drawn attention, as part of the design resembled swimwear. The situation escalated when the hem shifted, revealing shorts designed to look like underwear.
As the situation gained attention online, many fans have since expressed support and comfort toward Sana after learning about her feelings regarding the incident.
