Drama Ranking for the 4th Week of July

SBS’s Revenant ended on a high note, taking the top spot. Audiences hailed the show as “flawless until the end,” particularly appreciating the ending, which poignantly sent the message of “let’s keep on living.” Meanwhile, JTBC’s King the Land continued its downward spiral, ending up in the second spot. Despite the popularity of leading actors Junho and YoonA, the series failed to spark wider interest due to its predictable plotline. Making their respective comebacks for season 2, Netflix’s D.P. and tvN’s The Uncanny Counter kicked off in third and fourth places. D.P. 2 drew mixed reviews; while some praised it for maintaining its poignant messaging from the first season, others expressed disappointment that it didn’t quite live up to expectations. As for The Uncanny Counter, despite the ongoing school violence controversies surrounding the lead actor Jo Byung Gyu, the show’s ratings seemed unaffected. MBC’s Numbers quietly wrapped up its run at the tenth spot, overshadowed throughout its airtime by Revenant.
