IVE’s Jang Wonyoung has landed the cover of Cosmopolitan Korea.
In an interview following her photoshoot, the artist delved into the conversation about IVE’s boldly radiant concept of narcissism.
“I wholly love the person that I am,” Jang stated confidently. “Since childhood, my parents have nurtured me with love, allowing me to flourish in it. Now, as I continue to grow through the love I receive from our fans, I’ve learned to love myself. I hope those who listen to our songs can also learn to love themselves,” she professed, expressing her heartfelt affection for her fans.
When asked about her strengths, she cited her unwavering character that doesn’t get swayed by others’ opinions or words. “If there is something I want to fulfill or achieve, I will make it happen. I want to execute everything perfectly, especially the things that bear my name,” she revealed.

Jang also offered a paradoxical perspective on her current age, defining it as a “contradictory age that is immature yet mature, mature yet immature.” She added, “Turning twenty still hasn’t sunk in. I will enjoy my last moments of becoming an adult to the fullest, even if it means acting a bit childish,” showing a glimpse into her playful charm.
Meanwhile, IVE officially embarked on their global activities after releasing their first Japanese album WAVE on May 31st. Having already completed their debut fan concert “The Prom Queens” in Korea, Japan, and the Philippines, IVE will continue their Asia tour in Taipei, Taiwan on the 24th, in Singapore on the 30th, and in Bangkok, Thailand on July 8th.
